Veljko Martinovic was born in 1963 in Belgrade, Serbia. His work is found all over the world in galleries and private collections. Architect, artist & art historian Jugoslav Janjic says that Veljko Martinovic's paintings have the strength of a volcano, and at the same time a calm that leads to thinking.

When an observer finds a piece of his world, his own truth, in my painting, then my art comes to life. Colors, lines and forms are the only path that I choose. No photo can present a painting in its own beauty and power, it could only be a hint. Inspired by the last August's evening light.
